How are the New Year’s resolutions to lose weight working out for you? Not so good? Don’t be too hard on yourself – most of us will fall by the wayside some time in January. Trouble is, we think we are on the Biggest Loser and set huge targets that mere mortals without a team of experts and a TV camera following them can’t stick with for long. Or we have a vague idea about losing some weight but no plan to follow. Walking is my secret weight loss weapon. And I don’t mean going for 10 mile hikes but […] Read more »

Sugar waxing is a great way of getting rid of excess hair. It will keep you hair free for weeks at a time. You can have this done at a salon or buy a sugar wax kit to use at home, though there’s really no need to shell out big bucks on hair removal treatments and products unless you want to, as you can easily make sugar wax at home. You probably don’t even need to go shopping for this recipe as the ingredients to make your own sugar wax are pretty easy to find in most kitchens. This a […] Read more »
There’s nothing worse when you’re trying to lose weight than that feeling of being hungry all the time. If you follow a traditional diet, you will feel hungry before every meal and often a short time after it. There’s something very therapeutic about dry brushing your body before your bath or shower. I heard about the benefits a while ago and tried it because of that but it’s the great feeling that comes from brushing my skin that makes me continue. It sounds painful (or at least not much fun) before you try it. And it’s true, the first few times are a bit awkward while you get used to the process and how much pressure to use, but after a while if you carry on every day you won’t want to give it up. Benefits of Dry […] Read more »
A pert rear end is a great asset. Though we can’t all look like Pippa Middleton you can definitely get a firm butt to be proud of without too much effort. This one minute buttock lift can be done while you’re waiting for the coffee to brew or the kettle to boil (my favorite time to do it). You can even shape your bottom while you’re on the phone, though maybe not if you’re in a shared office if you want to avoid strange looks. How to Get a Firm Butt Fast It’s very simple – just one easy bottom […] Read more »
